But when they (will) see it approaching, (will be) distressed (the) faces (of) those who disbelieved, and it will be said, "This (is) that which you used to for it call."

Yet in the end, when they shall see that [fulfilment] close at hand, the faces of those who were bent on denying the truth will be stricken with grief; and they will be told, "This it is that you were [so derisively] calling for!"
At length, when they see it close at hand, grieved will be the faces of the Unbelievers, and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise fulfilled), which ye were calling for!"
But when they saw the punishment nigh, the faces were troubled of those who were ungrateful. And it will be said to them: This is what you had been calling for.
Then when they see the torment drawing near, the faces of the disbelievers will become gloomy, and it will be said ˹to them˺, “This is what you claimed would never come.”
But, when they will see it (the punishment on the Day of Resurrection) approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will change with sadness (turn black), and it will be said (to them): “This is the Promise which you were calling for!”
But when they will behold it proximating sad will be the countenances of those who disbelieve, and it will be said: this is that which ye have been calling for
But then, when they see it close at hand, the faces of those who disbelieve turn black with grief, and it will be said to them (who had been so mocking): "This is what you were calling for (derisively)."
But when they shall see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve shall be sorry, and it shall be said, "This is that which you used to call for."
Then, as soon as they see it drawn forward, the faces of the disbelievers will be vexed, and it will be said, "This is (the thing) that you used to claim."
Then, once they will see it approaching, the faces of the disbelievers will be turned awkward, and it will be said, .This is what you were calling for!
At length, when they see it (the time) close at hand, painful will be the faces of the unbelievers, and it will be said (to them): This is (the Promise fulfilled), which you were asking for
But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call."
But, when they shall see it close at hand, the faces of the disbelievers will turn black with gloom, and it will be said to them: "This is which you were calling for."

Actually, the faces of the unbelievers would distort (with horror) when they witness the torment in close proximity. They would be told "(this is the promise), this is what you had called for."

So when they saw it approaching (on the Day of Judgment), went in extreme terror (and turmoil) the faces of those who disbelieved. And it was said (to them): “This is the Event you have been demanding of it.”
When they will see it near at hand, the faces of all those who had denied it will be distraught, and then they will be told: "This is the doom which you used to ask for."

So when they saw it in close proximity/close , those who disbelieved's faces/fronts became bad/evil/harmful, and (it) was said: "That (is) what you were with it calling (hastening)."
But when they see it (- the threatened punishment) nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve will wear a grieved look. And it will be said (to them), `This is what you used to ask for so persistently.
Then, when they will see that (Day) near, the faces of the disbelievers will be deformed and darkened, and it will be said (to them): ‘This is (the promise) which you asked for (to come to pass in haste).
But when they will see it (the torment on the Day of Resurrection) approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be different (black, sad, and in grieve), and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise) which you were calling for!"
But when they shall see the same nigh at hand, the countenance of the infidels shall grow sad: And it shall be said unto them, this is what ye have been demanding
But when they see it drawing near, the unbelievers‘ faces will be contorted with woe, and a voice will say: ‘This is the doom which you have challenged.&lsquo

When they see it (death) approaching, the faces of those who deny the knowledge of the reality will darken. And it will said, “This is that which you impatiently wanted to experience!”

Then when the Day of Judgment comes to be a matter of fact and they face it resolutely, their countenances shall speak a different language, the language of dismay and despair. Now is the encounter with Allah's punishment awaiting the wicked. They will be told: "This is what you defiantly asked for ! and what you were promised."
